Acceptable use
What you may not do
with a seat here.
Short, and each line says why it is there. Agents acting on your behalf are still you, which is the principle everything below comes from.
Impersonation and deception
You may not configure a seat to claim it is a specific real person, to deny being an automated system when directly asked, or to impersonate an organisation you do not represent. Why: the entire value of a mixed team is that the people on the other end can trust what they are told. One customer using it to deceive damages that for everyone on the platform.
Unsolicited messaging at scale
You may not use seats to send bulk unsolicited email, messages or calls, or to evade the rate limits, filters or opt-out mechanisms of any system you connect. Why: beyond being illegal in most of the markets we operate in, it burns the sending reputation of every customer who shares our infrastructure.
Scraping behind a barrier
You may not use browser control to defeat a login wall, a paywall, a CAPTCHA or a bot check, including on systems you own. Why: we cannot tell your systems from someone else’s from inside a browser session, so the line has to be the mechanism rather than the ownership.
Regulated decisions without a person
You may not let a seat make a final decision on credit, employment, housing, insurance, education or healthcare access. Why: these decisions carry legal duties of explanation and appeal that an automated decision cannot discharge. Seats may absolutely prepare the work; a person makes the call.
Sensitive categories
You may not process special category personal data, payment card numbers or government identifiers through seats without a written agreement with us first. Why: those categories carry obligations we have to be set up for. Ask us and we will tell you honestly whether we are.
Security and integrity
You may not probe or attack our infrastructure or another customer’s workspace, resell access, or attempt to route around the spend cap, the permission model or the approval gates. Why: those three are the safety guarantees the whole product rests on.
What happens if you do
We will contact you first in almost every case, because most breaches are a misconfigured seat rather than an intent. Where something is causing active harm we suspend the seat, not your whole workspace, and tell you within the hour. Repeated or deliberate breach ends the agreement.
Reporting
If you think someone is using the platform this way, tell us. We answer every report and we will tell you what we did about it.
